RARE Vintage De Carlini Singing Choir Angel on Hand Painted Ball Glass Christmas Decoration This decoration is in lovely condition. She stands on what looks like a frosted glass cloud, but look closer and you can see she is perched on a heavenly Christmas tree branch of white frit with a hand painted candle burning on the branch below her. The white branches are surrounded with gold glitter star dust. The angel has hair crafted of white frit glass, wonderfully angelic hand painted face, a gold halo, gold glitter detailed gold gown and has die cut paper gold wings on her back. MADE IN ITALY sticker is on the bottom. This vintage De Carlini is extremely rare. This is NOT an ornament, it’s a decoration / figurine and stands on a table, shelf or mantle. I’m sure you can creatively suspend her from a Christmas tree as an ornament, but she was not created for that purpose. De Carlini’s ornaments are mouth blown glass ornaments made in Italy. Their ornaments are very detailed, delicate and truly a unique piece of art. They are hand painted and embellished with fabric, paper, beads, charms, feathers and/or ribbons.
