Set of 4 De Carlini Glass The Nutcracker Suite Christmas Ornaments. In a small village just outside Milan, Italy, the De Carlini family has been creating heirloom glass ornaments since 1947. Founders Enrico and Elisa passed the business down the generations, mouth-blowing each ornament from fiery glass, heating to over 1400°F, hand painting and then individually decorating them. The set for sale here includes the following four ornaments (the tallest of which is about 6): Clara, The Nutcracker Prince, Herr Drosselmeyer, and the Mouse King. Also included is the original handmade Florentine paper-covered unusually sturdy box with the original bed of straw. Each of the four ornaments is in mint condition with absolutely no signs of use or wear. The box has the letter N (for Nutcracker) written on two sides and the De Carlini label is taped to the top of the box. It is otherwise in excellent condition. Thank you for looking.
