Vintage 1940’s Mercury Glass Wire Wrapped Tree Topper – West Germany – Antique Christmas Ornament. An elaborate and aesthetic design with a more intricate wire wrapping than is typically seen! In stunning condition overall with no missing pieces, no chips or cracks in the glass or any other major issues. Wire wrapping in beautiful, near perfect condition. Minor issues include (all shown in later pics). Some loss of silver on upper stem, lower stem and top of balls. A couple of the “pom poms” are flattened a bit, could be puffed up with some effort. Some dusty areas on bulb. Box has some water stains. Check photos to judge overall condition for yourself. Will be packed very responsibly, double boxed and insured.
