Beautiful handmade glass ornament wreath. Styrofoam base covered with silver tinsel and decorated with vintage and antique glass and plastic ornaments in a red, green and white color scheme. The center has a plastic Santa, sleigh and reindeer with glass beaded picks in the back. Three Krebs bells hang from the top with plastic icicles hanging below them. The ornaments include sleigh, bells, indents, horn, felted snowman, pixie elf, bird, icicles, plastic snowflakes, lamp. Green coated wire hanger on back. Ornaments range from approx. 1930’s to 1950’s/1960’s and may include Shiny Brite, Polish, German, W German, Japan, Premier other older USA makers, some unknown (snowflakes/plastic icicles). Tinsel is also vintage 50’s to 70s, except for one newer strand along back outside edge used to create a more finished appearance. Glass and plastic ornaments may have some vintage paint, silvering or frosting/glitter loss, spotting/scratches, yellowing and darkening of tops. Pixie may have some vintage soiling or fading of cloth. There may be glue strings and glue residue visible in some areas. All wreaths I make have the same size base. However each may vary in size and width dependent on how each is designed. 18 1/2 in diameter and has a depth of approx. Beautiful wreath to add to your collection. I have been making wreaths for family and friends and have 5 I will be listing for sale. I make these in my spare time as a hobby on a very limited basis. I only use vintage/antique items. Nothing is new except wire, wreath base, glue , one strand of tinsel on back outside edge and possibly ribbon. Due to vintage nature and glass materials, this wreath is intended for interior use ONLY. Do not place on exterior or moving door. For safety, wreath should be hung on a flat surface with a very secure wall mount. NEVER wash or wipe with a damp/wet rag or use any soap or sprays on ornaments. Simply dust with a soft dry cloth. Never lift or hold by outside ring of ornaments, always grab the interior center of the wreath to hold , carry or hang. Storage Never store in a very hot or very cold environment, like an attic or basement. High or freezing temperatures can cause weakness to glue and cause ornaments to pop or fall off, damage paint including crazing and fading, and loss of silvering.
