Vintage/ Antique Glass German Christmas Ornament This wonderful old ornament in exceptionally nice condition! Hand Painted Clown Face with Ruffled Collar beautifully painted with amazing coverage for its age I do not think it was ever hung… Packed away in a collection for lots of years ready to be taken out and enjoyed for Christmases to come! Measures 3″ tall and 2.5″ diameter We see so many of the older ornaments with paint loss and mercury fade that I think we sometimes forget how beautifully perfect they were when first created… And the time put into their detail in design and painting is obvious. We love them and continue to copy those that were most sought after. Delightful when we find an oldie in near original condition! Today we do not have to hide them in a box away from the elements and hardships of past eras to keep them in nice condition.
