Antique GERMAN SANTA & AIRPLANE SLED, MICA FLAKES, CARDBOARD hand blown glass Christmas ornament. This example is basically in mint condition with exceptional paint. There is very minimal wear. The metal hanging cap is very tight on the pike. The ornament measures 4 inches, 10cm in size. This is a superior example of this form and worthy of any antique Christmas collection. The pieces have excellent color, clear detail. All glass is intact. Ornament is blown glass and is very detailed. Cardboard wings attached well. Work is beautiful, paint has some age spots. In the photo’s. The wing span is 5 inches and the plane without the pike is 3.5 inches.
