Please check out all the other lots. For sale is an early antique PATRIOTIC BELL glass Christmas ornament from Germany c. This ornament retains its original uncommon brass finish hanging cap. These were only used on very early glass ornaments. The bell exhibits red and white stripes with a blue field above and white stars. At the top is a light gold band. Inside the bell is the original attached little glass clapper. The ornament measures 2 1/2 in size and remains in excellent condition with very minor paint wear and surface dirt. This is an outstanding example that would terrific on a patriotic-themed feather tree at Christmas.
