Rare Christopher Radko Italian Christmas Ornament Winter Morning Snow Globe
EXTREMELY RARE CHRISTOPHER RADKO “WINTER MORNING”. ITALIAN CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT SNOW GLOBE, 1996. Tag has a cut on it, please see photos. This is a seldom seen Christopher Radko ornament from 1996. “Winter Morning” is about 7 inches tall and made in Italy. It is a beautiful snow globe atop a red mercury glass base. Inside the snow globe is a deer amidst pine trees on a bed of glittery snow. You can almost feel the peace and tranquility of the scene. I think this is one of the most beautiful Radko ornaments I have seen. Christopher Radko ornaments are made entirely by hand using a time honored technique dating back to the 1800s, a process that requires seven days to produce a single Ornament! This ornament was blown by a European craftsman in tempered glass for durability, lined with sterling silver for luminosity and hand-painted with loving care and intricate detail. As a sign of authenticity, each ornament is capped with a crown bearing the name Radko. Such touches make a Radko Ornament an instant heirloom and a treasured gift. Each hand painted, blown glass piece is unique and may exhibit minor glitter loss and/or paint anomalies.
