Lovely and large Vergo glass silver kugel ornament. Measures 7 1/2 inches diameter. Brass cap marked VG 1721 which is the year the glasswork started. The hanging ring is soldered consist with age. The glasswork discontinued operations in the 1930s. Nice shape with some surface wear, a stray scratch here and there, no oxidation notes but a couple of dimples in the glass from the manufacturing process. Offered for sale is this large Vergo French glass kugel, in a bright red color. It dates from the 1920’s or 1930’s. The cap is marked V. This is one of 5 Vergo kugels I have for sale, the last picture shows them all together – this listing is for the featured kugel only. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. The kugel is approximately 8.25 inches diameter, and is approximately 27 inches circumference. It is in excellent condition. There are no cracks and essentially no loss to the silvering. There are some tiny bubbles and other tiny flaws in the glass – it was made this way. Please see the close up pictures. Unfortunately, we have no control over that. Track Page Views With.
