This features a rarely seen a “Quezal’s Art Nouveau Peacock Eye” inspired art glass ornament hand blown by American artist Robert Held for Tiffany circa 2007. Beautiful iridescent purple, blue, green and gold peacock feathers with a red heart center. Never displayed and sent with original packaging. Originally purchaser’s records say this design was a special order offered to loyal high volume customers. What a spectacular Christmas tree a set of these ornaments would make. 12 delightful Vintage Glass Christmas Ornaments. Eleven are from the 1940’s made in Japan and Poland plus one 1950’s German Indent. The silver reflects like a mirror on these… Bad for photographing but wonderful on your tree! I have always liked the unusual Egg shaped ornaments with the abstract floral designs that were made in Japan right after WW2. There are 4 in this box… I don’t come across them very often and haven’t made a box of 12 in the past 2 years! And I search for them! Their decorations remind me of the early Corning ornaments. These are in great condition… Measuring 3.75 long. I’ve handled many many Poland teardrops over the years… These are the first I’ve had that were variegated as well as painted over with white Mica in a repeat Christmas tree and fence design… With 3 stars and a Man in the Moon in the skyline. There is a multitude of minute sparkles in the reflective paint! I wish everyone could see these in hand! Almost no signs of wear! … Measure 3.5 long. And there is one more Polish made teardrop… With a pink center band, hand painted in a pretty dainty floral pattern. It has an eraser size fade spot on the pike. Lastly, there is the aforementioned single sided German indent rimmed with white polka dots and a pretty colorful embossed pattern showing off its center. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
