This striking box set of vintage ornaments has a wide assortment of futuristic UFO and Atomic Age designs. There are 7 ornaments that are 3″, 2 that are 2 3/4″, and 3 that are 2 1/4. Most or all of these were made by Shiny Brite and most have Shiny Brite caps, although a few of the caps are from other ornament companies (possibly replaced at some point in the past). As you can see, these ornaments are in very good condition for their age with some light overall wear. Please see all photos. A unique set of Atomic Age Christmas ornaments! Vtg 1960s De Carlini Alien Spaceship Italian Blown Glass Christmas Ornament RARE. This is an absolutely awesome example of italian blown glass ornaments and the atomic age. The amount of percision to create the pointed antenea out of glass is just amazing. This piece is in great condition for its age. Paint and sparkles are shiny. Small issues are listed below but they do not detract from the overall appearance of this ornament. Small chip in glass where loop comes out at the top of the helmet. The loop fabric is fraying slightly due to the chip. There is some spotting and minor scratches on the top of the pink spaceship body – there is a small section where the paint has chipped off on the gold paint stripe around the middle. There are some discolored spots near this same spot. Even like these issues, it is still a really great piece that would look great on any vintage christmas tree! See pics for overall condition. This listing is for a Rare Vintage 1960 De Carlini Spaceship Alien Christmas Glass Ornament Globe. Please look at the pictures to see the different areas where some of the paint has rubbed off. Please remember this ornament is 50+ years old and has been displayed every year. This ornament hung on our Christmas tree when I grew up and has been on my family Christmas tree for another 20 years. My mother bought several of these at Kraynek’s in Hermatge, Pennsylvania. I believe this is a de Carlini ornament distributed by the Kurt Adler Company. Features an alien in a blue , light pink, and tan/yellowish spaceship with the glass dome over his head.
