Vintage Italian Glass Christmas Ornament. De Carlini Cross Country Skier. There were estimated to be just less than 20 over the decades. Laved is another that was popular. There is a history book for De Carlini that has a sampling of their styles from their beginning through the 70’s. But is it not exhaustive. Please zoom in on the pictures for condition. The ornament surrounded and cushioned by acid free tissue. Then I put the smaller box in a larger box also with packing peanuts/bubble/other to ensure it arrives safely. Please removed the item carefully from the smaller box and handle that box with care. Unwrap the tissue and handle the ornament gently. Such ornaments are glass and are fragile. It might cost a few dollars more for the double boxing (because it can’t go at the under one pound rate) but it is for the best. Thank you very much! Green background can influence the color of the ornament. Gives many items a pinkish tint. Please refer to the white background for a more accurate picture color.
