Item for your consideration is an antique German glass ornament dating from the 1920s- known as the Spirit of St. Its body is blue striped fadenglas or Bimini glass- mercury glass on the interior. The plane measures 5-3/4 long- 4-1/8 wide and approx. The blue stripes are melted into the glass. It has a spun glass wing and tail. The metal wheels are attached with crinkle wire. Spun glass tail may be a replacement. No chips or cracks. Photos have been taken in natural and artificial light. Please be aware that vintage clothing fits differently than today’s clothing.
