These are truly rare. Two beautiful hand blown milk glass egg ornaments. On each are gilt “ribbons” that divide the egg into sections which are decorated with beautiful Dresden die cut images. These eggs are perfectly intact with no breaks, cracks or chips to the body. The images are also perfect with no peeling or breaks and the colors are vibrant and like new- shocking considering the age of these. These have been preserved incredibly well. At the top of one, the gilt ribbon around the hook is missing, and on the other’s top, a part of the gilt is gone and worn. See pictures for details of condition and quality. Each egg measures approx 3.75″ high and 2.5″ wide. These will be packed incredibly well. Offered for sale is a RARE Antique German KUGEL Christmas Ornament from the 1890s. The feather tree ornament measures 4 inches tall by 2 & 1/2 inches across. It is made out of milk glass with gold Dresden trim and die cut Victorian scraps applied to the surface. It has a cap on it like your typical German Kugels. I have only seen one other milk glass Kugel before and it was bell shaped. There is wear to the Dresden trim and scraps. There are no chips or cracks to the glass.
