Clear Glass Ball Hand-Painted with White Abstract Design and filled with a Blue Liquid Filling. Metal Cap is inscribed: West Germany. Ornament is 3.25 tall. This is an extremely rare vintage blown glass ornament. It has a unique feature a clear blown glass ball that is filled with blue colored water. It’s blue liquid filling has a kaleidoscope effect that is both beautiful and dramatic. This ornament was produced in the late 1950’s to early 1960’s. The ornaments manufactured during this era were some of the finest and unique free form blown glass. The outer and inner glass portions of this ornament are smooth silver mercury glass. The reflection inside the ornament reflects the hand-painted. On the liquid filled ball. It’s hand-painted abstract design produces a beautiful reflection behind the blue ball somewhat like a flower. The metal cap is marked West Germany. The ornament is 3″ tall 2.5″ wide 2.5 deep. It is an extremely fancy indent glass ornament. The condition is very good.
