In 1990 Jay Feinberg reopened his business changed the name to Jay Strongwater Fashion Jewelry after his mothers maiden name. Strongwater designed jewelry and accessory lines for Oscar de la Renta to highlight his clothing lines. Strongwaters jewelry is instantly recognized by the swirled and layered enamel, the hand-placed clear and color Swarovski crystals and a lighthearted use of motifs. His work is said to be iconic.
