This nice Blown silvered Glass Ornament features colorful paint, unique shape, embossed details, colorful scrap paper applique and metallic mesh decoration. Measures approximately 4 tall. Condition is good vintage, some color loss/age signs and scratches, no chips or cracks. Amazing Victorian era wire wrapped free blown glass crib with die cut chenille baby. This gorgeous piece is made of wired tinsel to form the canopy crib. Inside the wired ” bed” is a free blown glass piece that is completely wired into the frame of the bed. Unfortunately, the left side of the glass” bed”, and part of back, has broken. The right side of the glass , bottom, front and some of back is still intact inside the wired bed frame. The wired frame has 4 little “legs” on the bottom and it can stand. The back has a wired canopy section with a yellow crepe paper canopy attached to it. There is some spots on the crepe paper and a tear on the left side. Inside the bed is a baby with red chenille arms and legs. She has a die cut face and red crepe paper skirt. A couple loose wires on the bottom. Crib is delicate but very sturdy. The crib is 4 1/2″ H and 3 ” W. Even with glass breakage this is an amazing piece. It is stunning hanging on the tree. Please contact me with any questions. After taking more pictures today I wanted to update description. The left side of the glass “bed” is broken and part of the top on that side. The right side, part of the top, bottom, back and majority of front are still intact. There are a few pieces of broken glass inside beds wire frame that I would be too afraid to attempt to try and remove. Please view all pictures.
