This is from a 1890 ESTATE and was hanging in a Victorian barn, it dates to the 1800’s and was handmade with poured glass (like gripoix making) and then shaped while the glass is still hot – this is a large HUGE 9in x 7in antique glass bell hanging ornament – it is VERY VERY thick, smooth and HEAVY – it is made by the poured glass method and then molded & smoothed out – it is in excellent condition with. NO chips/flea bites or cracks, PRISTINE CONDITION! It is a antique glass ornament, antique glass suncatcher, antique wall hanging – antique bell – it is a bell inside a large circle – this is beautiful and would look great hanging anywhere in your house – this is a rare collectible piece and I doubt you will see another one – there are no hallmarks on it as it is handmade – the glass is clear and thick – a nice antique quality done craftsmanship – the thick glass bell hangs by a red felt ribbon and is free-flowing and movable so it picks up the sunlight – you can actually unattach the bell (just by cutting the red ribbon) if desired so you have 2 pieces – antique bell – antique glass – antique ornament – use it as a Christmas ornament inside or outside or year-round would look beautiful on the mantle or a barn – suncatcher – wall hanging – picture – prism.
