Antique Shiny Brite Blue/Green/Red/Gold Glass Mica Star Christmas Ornaments. They measure 2 and were made in the 1950’s. Light paint wear, two have a small chip hidden by the pike cover. One has a chip extending a little below the pike cover. One ornament is missing and has been replaced by a plain silver ball, excellent condition.

6 Early made in West Germany’Embossed’ Glass Christmas Ornaments. 1949 – 1950’s. Delightful assortment of shape designs. All in nice condition. The larger indent is one of my favorites… 2 Carousels painted with 4 animals and riders. Prettily fluted and with nicely embossed flower in the bottom…. Edge outlined thinly in black. Painted on both sides… One with more color. Single deep smaller Indent with nice gold painted flower in the bottom and rimmed in band of black. I will be listing more early W Germany ornaments this week… These will come packed in a vtg hosiery box. Ornaments measure 2 1/8″ to 2.5″ tall and 1.5 to 2 width. Metal tops are secure. A box of hard to find unsilvered glass West German Christmas Ornaments with pretty white glittery mica stripes and foil braiding and stars….. Coping earlier German decorated ornaments. With pretty spun glass inside each ornament added to it’s appeal! 2 Teardrops and 4 spheres… One sphere a bit smaller than the others the teardrops have green spun glass inside them… 2 of the larger spheres have pink spun glass… Another large size has yellow. The smaller sphere has 2 pretty wide white coconut rings and repeating dark mica stars and a horizontal ring decorating the outer center… Inside has purple spun glass! I see questions on different Christmas boards asking about these lovely WG ornaments… Collectors looking for them… But rarely lucky enough to find them. I hope someone searching will be delighted to find this pretty box of 6! I have many beautiful items to list…. Please keep checking in my Christmas Store! Box of Lovely West German Glass Christmas Ornaments if you want all or some of the ornaments in this box… Contact me right away…. I listed a photo of this box as a “coming attraction” and have been contacted by several buyers trying to find it in my listings. I’d planned to list this box last night along with some others I’d pictured, sorry for the delay! A special hand picked box…. Silver and turquoise with some bits of red and yellow and most enhanced with beautiful white or dark charcoal & silver mica glitter 11 Early West German Ornaments… Most copied from older molds and 1 pre WW2 Poland Ornament (small sphere with flowers) 3 musical stringed instruments… Two have some chipping under the cap… All have bumpy texture on one side and their bottoms (older WG)… 2 are lacquered and feature church scenes one with dark mica and the other with white mica…. The other bell has a bright silver finish and features a red roofed windmill atop a grassy green knoll. White mica sets this off splendidly… With a wide embossed ring around the basket top and bottom. With Merry Christmas incised on the front side of a textured background beside an embossed church with surrounding green trees and a shooting star up in the sky. The dimpled textured back has 4 incised stars filled with white mica. A little loss of silvering at the very top on the back. With lovely embossed trees. Enhanced with dark glittery mica. These is a great design… If you can find several to group… They are very eye catching! Both enhanced with black mica glitter! An embossed looped ring divides the two sides. A ring of dark sparkly glitter runs next to the dividing looped ring… Framing a ring of rays in alternating turquoise and dark glitter… Shooting off from a small round incised yellow center. At the tips of the ring of rays is an incised zig zag circle with the appearance of the tips of flower petals. On the back side is an embossed bright red church with dark silver mica… Framed in a circle of dark mica. Matt pale turquoise with a wide shiny ring of painted turquoise around the center… Prettily painted with 3 similar scenes of a yellow 5 petaled flower with sprays of pretty petals between them. At the top and the bottom are 3 groupings… Please keep checking in my Christmas Store!
