This is the rare & sought after German Resl Lenz ornaments. 6 Vintage Germany Resl Lenz Glass Ornaments Plus 1 blown glass tree topper with wire marked Germany. Im not sure if this is Resl Lenz or not. The gold base seems to be a thick cardboard material & not foil/tin material like Resl Lenz. All ornaments seem to be in good condition. Item for your consideration is an antique German glass ornament dating from the 1920s- known as the Spirit of St. Its body is blue striped fadenglas or Bimini glass- mercury glass on the interior. The plane measures 5-3/4 long- 4-1/8 wide and approx. The blue stripes are melted into the glass. It has a spun glass wing and tail. The metal wheels are attached with crinkle wire. Spun glass tail may be a replacement. No chips or cracks. Photos have been taken in natural and artificial light. Please be aware that vintage clothing fits differently than today’s clothing. From a recent estate sale, this is a great set of old Mercury glass/ radio style ornaments. The box is marked Made In Germany 9086. The first photos showcase the 18 that I believe originally came in the box. They all have the same gold color metal top and all of them are marked Germany. The next four all have the silver color top and are all marked West Germany. Those first 22 ornaments are basically new, no damage, no wear, clean. The last 2 on the right side of the last close ups are unmarked and show wear. 1920 to 1929 hard to find painted fruit….. Especially in this size and condition! They’re usually scratched from years of hanging on trees…. I don’t think these have been used… From a collector who kept her ornaments packed away! 3 Antique Blown Glass German Small Feather Tree Christmas Ornaments yellow with pink/peach blush the yellow is not as bright as it shows in some of the pics.. These have a satin finish… Soft shine 1 5/8″ to 2″ diameter 1 7/8″ to 2 1/8″ height These are prettily painted little ornaments and in especially nice condition.
