These were made around 1880 in Germany and given as a wedding present to my Grandparents who were Married in Atlantic City in 1888. They weigh about 7.8 oz each and are about 5.5 tall by 13 in diameter. We enjoyed them for many years but decided to down size. Price is for both. Bob & Lynn Gale. Nice old heavy piece. Has a little tarnish around top of the original cap, and a few other tiny imperfections. Also has the original ring. Top cap hangs a little above the ball, but it is extremely secure – see final pic.
