A very RARE Antique, circa 1905 Glass Hummingbird with Scalloped Spun Glass Wings Perfume Bottle. Country of manufacture: France. Condition is Used so please view all images as they are part of the description. Some additional fading of the original pink hand painted design on wings since unpacked; gold gilt beak and tail are intact, no breaks or flea bites. Wings fall to the sides of the bird, not outstretched. Original silvery green Silk tassel is still attached as well as the gold label of perfume contents “Heliotrope”. Only item missing is the cork at the tail which kept perfume sealed. Item is as found decades ago, packed away. Size: 2.5″Hx3.25″W. A wonderful remembrance of the romantic Belle Epoch….
