This is the most fabulous glass ornament which depicts the famous Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan. Made by MOSTOWSKI of Poland it shows in magnificent detail the tree and the statue of Prometheus above which it stands beside the ice skating rink. We think it dates from about 1988 and it is in excellent condition. It stands 7 inches tall to the top of the tree, and the base itself measures 4 inches by 3 inches. The tree separates from the base for storage and it needs a touch of glue when putting it in place to keep it perfectly steady. The original tag from MOSTOWSKI is still attached.
