Wonderful double sided negro head ornament. The color of this piece is a greenish blue and is very pretty. As you can see from the pictures, it appears darker blue in more light and greener is darker light. It is actually a bit between both colors in natural light. He still has his black eyes and red mouth on both sides. One of the nicer ones I have see. He has very minimal paint and silvering loss. He really stands out on the tree. The cap seen in most pictures makes the pike look damaged due to the points. It was also very loose. Since I did change the cap, which I never really do for fear of damaging, I was able to view the pike and there were no chips and the top had a smooth edge. A beautiful addition to any collection.
